Daniel Knott is a Managing Partner of K2 Development Companies. He was born and raised in Redding, CA. He attended college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo obtaining a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting and a minor in economics. Daniel has grown up in the business spending many of his hours as a youth working as a laborer on job sites. After college, he started working with his father Randy and brother Allen at K2. In addition to his achievements with K2 Development, Daniel started K2 Properties, a property management company that consults and manages an $80M real estate portfolio. He is deeply committed to his friends and family and enjoys being civically engaged with his community.
Allen Knott is President and Managing Partner at K2 Development Companies. Allen obtained is Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Finance and a minor in Economics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Following college, Allen took a position at The Principal Financial Group consulting on corporate, non-profit and group retirement plans. Over the course of the past 18 years at Principal, he has successfully managed over $2 billion in corporate retirement funds. In 2003 Allen pursued his interest in real estate and started K2 which operates solely in Shasta County. Since then he has grown the company and its affiliates to success in the real estate markets. Allen currently resides in Rocklin, CA with his wife Kristen, son Anthony, and daughters Korinne and Kamryn.
Randy Knott was born 1952 in San Jose CA. He attended grade school in San Jose area and graduated in 1970 from Pioneer High school. After school, Randy pursued a career as a retail sales manager in San Jose and later Sacramento. In 1979 he moved to the Redding area and started work in a family construction business. In 1983, Randy began work with SkyCrest Enterprises as a service/ construction manager. In his 25 years experience at SkyCrest, he was responsible for establishing and managing six separate divisions. His divisions managed over 300+ project sites per year with total sales of over 50 million annually. At the time of leaving, SkyCrest was in the top 5 percentile nationally for customer satisfaction with over 7,500 homes delivered. Randy left Skycrest Enterprises in 2007 holding the title of Corporate Production Manager and began work with his son to form K2 Development. Since its establishment, Randy has successfully managed 25+ million in construction and development efforts on over 30 project sites. Randy currently resides in Anderson, CA with his wife Patty and dog Sammie.
